Let’s start by taking a look at what the folks behind Backlink Profit Monster 2.0 highlight as their main selling points:
Get relevant backlink data using the keyword research admin. Backlink Profit Monster 2.0 gets a list of the websites that are ranking high for your keyword and a list of websites that they have backlinks from.
Identify the top 10 competitors based on any niche. By this, they mean that the software finds your top ten competitors in Google for the keywords you’re targeting. Not really a selling point in my opinion because you can do this yourself by looking at the top 10 results in Google Search!
Drill down on competitors backlinks. Having got your top 10 competitors, the software will give you some more info about each competitor and generate a list of websites that are linking to them. You can choose the lowest PageRank value you want for your list and whether they should be blogs only (easy backlinks by commenting) or all websites.
Analyze their backlinks easily to determine which have high pagerank and are dofollow so you can submit to. You can then filter your list of potential websites to get backlinks from so it only contains dofollow links, a PageRank of your choosing (or higher) as well as limiting the number of outbound links (a lot of outbound links will dilute the ‘link juice’).
Create and export a list for you to easily post your link to the most important sites. The software then creates a CSV file of your list.
Auto post blog comments without doing the commenting manually. (This is genius) Finally, you click on a button to send your filtered list to the auto poster where you set your anchor text, the url of your website, your email and the comments you want to make. Backlink Profit Monster will then automatically post your comments (along with your backlink) to all the websites on your list.

How Backlink Profit Monster 2.0 Works
So, the software basically goes through the following procedure:
You type in your keywords and it finds your top ten competitors (the first 10 results in Google)
You choose one of the competitors and it gets a list of websites that are linking to it (you can filter by PageRank and blogs)
You then tell the software to filter again based on PageRank, the number of outbound links on the page and whether the links are nofollow or dofollow.
You can optionally export the list of websites to a CSV file.
You create a list of generic comments – this includes the url of your website, the anchor text you wish to use, the email address and the comment itself. Multiple values can be used for each of these fields.
You start the auto-poster and Backlink Profit Monster automatically posts comments on each of websites in your list.
The Good Points
So what’s good about Backlink Profit Monster 2.0?
You get loads of backlinks to your website
You save lots of time for other SEO tasks
The back links increase your Google ranking
The Bad Points
And what isn’t so good about Backlink Profit Monster 2.0
You can only generate one list per competitor
The interface seemed a little clunky to me (it uses notepad a lot for data rather than nice clean form fields)
You have to write your generic comments in such a way that they won’t be discarded as spam by the website owners and result in no backlink (takes a little practice)
The Verdict Backlink Profit Monster 2.0 does what it says on the tin – it creates a lots and lots of backlinks to your website, which can help push your website up the search engine rankings, which (in turn) can result in more profits.
It takes a little getting used to and I think the interface could be vastly improved but in terms of functionality, it is very good. It would be useful if you could create a big list of links using the backlinks of multiple competitors at once but, that is really the only negative aspect.
If you need more backlinks to your website Backlink Profit Monster 2.0 is an ideal tool that will save you oodles of time.

With less than 2 weeks before version 2.0 is released, I thought I’d give you a quick overview of what The Backlink Monster actually does and how you can use this powerful piece of SEO software to dominate the search engines.

Why are backlinks important?
Every Internet Marketer understands the value of backlinks. A link from one website to another is essentially a ‘vote’ for the that website. The more ‘votes’ a website has, the better ranking it gets in Google and other search engines. But not all ‘votes’ are equal – a link from a website that has a high Google PageRank (PR) and is in a similar niche to your website has a lot more substance than a link from a website that has a low PR and has nothing in common with your website (more on ranking high in Google here).
